I am Dimitris Spanos, a self-taught artist based in Greece. Studied industrial designing in Greece. I have been painting all my life and I hope I keep making progress through time.
Places, objects, landscapes or anything with a sense of classic that matches with my aesthetics or arouses emotions to me are the source of my inspiration.
Sharing art that awakens emotions to others is my primary aspiration.
Painting has always been a part of my life, trying to convey in my works, pictures that aroused my attention, inspiration, and interest. Creating scenes in which I could travel. As my works evolve with me, my expectation is to be able to share these feelings. Realism with a long long-lasting love for pop art, bright colors, and a sense of classicism are some of the most common features of my work.
